ABOUT THE PROJECT
The homeowner reached out to Ascend with an existing landscape lighting system that was outdated, partially nonfunctional, and poorly positioned. The home itself was beautiful, but the lighting simply wasn’t doing it justice after dark. His vision: a lighting system that would let the home’s architecture stand out at night the same way it does during the day.
Our team approached the project as a full redesign rather than a repair. We developed a new lighting plan from the ground up and paired the installation with multiple evening fine-tuning sessions—a critical step on any lighting project, since the only way to know a fixture is aimed right is to see it working in the dark.

Lighting Design & System Installation
Evaluation of the existing outdated system, identification of nonfunctional fixtures and poor positioning, and development of a new lighting plan built from scratch. Removal of the legacy lighting system followed by full installation of new fixtures, wiring, and transformer per the updated plan.
Phase 2 · ✓ Completed
Fine-Tuning & Final Walkthrough
Return visits over multiple evenings to adjust fixture placement, aim, and intensity in real lighting conditions. Final walkthrough with homeowner to confirm every angle of the home was highlighted as intended.
